Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes, then slice into strips.

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Allow the mixture to come to a gentle simmer, then gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until fully melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked fettuccine pasta with the Alfredo sauce, tossing gently until the pasta is well-coated with the sauce.
