Method

Chicken Preparation

1

Prepare the Chicken

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika; one with beaten eggs; and one with panko breadcrumbs.

2

Bread the Chicken

Dip each chicken breast into the flour to coat, shaking off excess. Next, dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs, pressing down to ensure the breadcrumbs stick.

3

Cook the Chicken

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer to a baking sheet and finish cooking in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Fries Preparation

4

Prepare the Potatoes

While the chicken is baking, wash and cut the russet potatoes into thin strips to create fries. Rinse in cold water and pat dry with a towel.

5

Fry the Potatoes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potatoes in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste.
