Method

Prepare

1

Chill glass

If desired, place a highball or Collins glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill with ice and water while you prepare the cocktail to chill it, then discard the ice water before building the drink.

2

Cut the fresh lime in half. Reserve one half for the fresh squeeze and cut a thin wheel or wedge from the other half to use as garnish.

Build the Cocktail

3

Fill the chilled glass with fresh ice (about 3/4 full or roughly 1 cup).

4

Add 2 oz Tito's Handmade Vodka to the glass.

5

Squeeze about 3/4 oz fresh lime juice (roughly half a lime) directly into the glass. If you prefer a slightly sweeter drink, add 1/4 oz simple syrup. Stir gently to combine the vodka, lime juice, and syrup with the ice.

6

Top with about 3 oz soda water. Pour slowly to retain carbonation. Give the drink one gentle stir (1–2 rotations) to integrate the soda without flattening it.

7

Taste briefly and adjust: add a little more lime juice (up to 0.25 oz) for extra tartness or a splash more simple syrup (0.25 oz) for sweetness.

Finish

8

Garnish with the lime wheel or wedge on the rim and optionally a mint sprig slapped between your palms to release aroma and tucked into the drink.

9

Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer.
