Method
Prepare Glass & Ingredients
- 1
- 2
Juice fresh limes so you have at least 1 oz (about one medium lime) of lime juice ready.
Mix Cocktail
- 3
In a cocktail shaker add the cherry vodka (2 oz), citrus vodka (1 oz), fresh lime juice (1 oz), sour mix (1 oz), and grenadine (1/2 oz). Add a small handful of ice to the shaker (enough to chill but not over-dilute).
- 4
Vigorously shake for about 10–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker becomes frosty and well-chilled.
- 5
Strain the mixture into the prepared ice-filled glass.
Top & Garnish
- 6
Top the strained cocktail with about 3 oz (or to taste) of Sprite to add effervescence and sweetness. Stir gently once with a bar spoon to integrate soda without flattening it.
- 7
Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim and drop a maraschino cherry into the drink. Optionally, add a short straw or stir stick.
Serve
- 8
Serve immediately while cold and fizzy. Taste and adjust by adding a splash more grenadine for sweetness, more lime for brightness, or extra soda for a lighter drink.
