Lemon Butter Sauce
Method
Preparing the Salmon

Season the Salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Sear the Salmon
Carefully place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Sear for 4-5 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
Cooking the Vegetables

Prepare the Vegetables
Trim the asparagus and cut the carrots into thin slices. Slice the bell pepper into strips.

Sauté the Vegetables
In a separate pan, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the carrots and asparagus, cooking for 3-4 minutes. Then add the bell pepper and cook for another 2-3 minutes until all vegetables are tender but still crisp.
Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until it begins to foam.

Finish the Sauce
Remove from heat and stir in chopped fresh parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Plating

Serve the Dish
On each plate, place a portion of the sautéed vegetables, followed by a seared salmon fillet. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the salmon and garnish with additional parsley if desired.
