Prepare Burger Patty

Mix Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until just combined.

Form Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, about ¾ inch thick.

Prepare Toppings

Slice Tomato
Wash the tomato and slice it into thin rounds.

Prepare Lettuce
Wash and dry the lettuce leaves.

Toast Buns (optional)
Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly golden.
Prepare Fries

Cut Potatoes
Peel the potatoes (optional) and cut them into thin strips.

Heat Oil
In a deep skillet or fryer, heat the oil over medium-high heat until hot.

Fry Potatoes
Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels, then season with salt to taste.
Assemble Burger

Build the Burger
On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the beef patty, sliced tomato, and cheese (if using). Top with the other half of the bun.
