Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, finely chopped cabbage, minced garlic, minced ginger, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Fill the Gyoza

Take a gyoza wrapper and place a small spoonful of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper in half, and pinch to seal. Create pleats along the edge for a decorative touch.

  3. 3

    Cook the Gyoza

In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Arrange the gyoza in a single layer in the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.

  4. 4

    Add Water and Steam

Carefully add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and immediately cover with a lid. Allow the gyoza to steam for about 5-7 minutes until the water has evaporated and the dumplings are cooked through.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the lid and serve the gyoza hot with dipping sauce on the side.
