Method

Preparing the Blue Cheese Butter

1

Make the Blue Cheese Butter

In a bowl, combine blue cheese and softened butter. Mix in garlic powder until well blended. Shape into a log, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate until firm.

Cooking the Fries

2

Prepare and Fry the Potatoes

Peel and cut the Russet potatoes into thick fries. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 180°C (350°F). Fry the potatoes in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.

Cooking the Steak

3

Cook the Filet Mignon

Season the filet mignon steaks with salt and black pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from heat and let rest.

Cooking the Green Beans

4

Sauté the Green Beans

In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Once the butter is melted, add the green beans and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
