Crab Cake Preparation

Mix the Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, breadcrumbs, green onions, beaten egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until the ingredients are well combined.

Form the Cakes
Shape the mixture into patties, about 3 inches in diameter. You should get around 8 crab cakes.

Chill the Cakes
Place the formed crab cakes on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them hold their shape during cooking.

Fry the Cakes
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the crab cakes to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Prepare the Remoulade
In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped capers, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Serve the crab cakes warm with a side of the remoulade sauce and lemon wedges for garnish.
