Pudim Flan Ingredients
Method
Pudim Flan Directions
- 1
Prepare the Caramel
In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves, then stop stirring and let it cook until it turns a golden brown color. Immediately pour the caramel into a flan mold or a round cake pan, tilting to coat the bottom evenly. Set aside to cool.

Combine and Bake
Pour the custard mixture over the cooled caramel in the mold. Prepare a water bath by placing the flan mold in a larger baking dish filled with hot water. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool and Serve
Remove the flan from the water bath and let it cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. To serve, run a knife around the edges of the flan, then invert it onto a serving plate so that the caramel sauce flows over the top.
