Pecan Crust Preparation

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix the Crust Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the pecan halves, graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until well combined.

Form the Crust
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan.

Bake the Crust
Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool completely.

Cool the Pudding
Remove from heat and let the chocolate pudding cool slightly before spreading it over the cooled pecan crust.
Vanilla Pudding Layer

Cool the Pudding
Remove from heat and allow the vanilla pudding to cool slightly before layering it over the chocolate pudding layer.
Assembling the Pie

Layer the Puddings
Once both pudding layers have cooled, carefully pour the chocolate pudding over the crust, followed by the vanilla pudding.

Chill the Pie
Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
Topping the Pie

Before serving, top the pie with whipped cream, chopped pecans, and chocolate shavings.
