Brisket Preparation
- 1
Season and Cook Brisket
Rub the prime beef brisket with taco seasoning evenly on all sides. Place the brisket in a slow cooker and pour the salsa over it. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the brisket is tender and can be easily shredded.
- 2
Shred the Brisket
Once cooked, remove the brisket from the slow cooker and let it rest for about 10 minutes. Using two forks, shred the brisket into bite-sized pieces and mix it with the juices from the slow cooker.
Taco Assembly
- 3
Warm the Tortillas
In a skillet over medium heat, warm the flour tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side or until pliable.
- 4
Assemble Tacos
Place a generous portion of the shredded brisket mixture in the center of each tortilla. Top with pico de gallo, shredded mozzarella, and shredded lettuce.
