Method
Grilled Cheese Sandwich
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all the ingredients: bread, cheddar cheese, and butter.
- 2
Butter the Bread
Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- 3
Assemble the Sandwich
Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in a skillet. Add 1 slice of cheddar cheese, then place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side up.
- 4
Grill the Sandwich
Heat the skillet over medium heat. Cook the sandwich for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- 5
Serve
Remove the sandwich from the skillet and cut it in half. Serve hot.
Fries
- 6
Prepare the Fries
Preheat your oven according to the package instructions for the frozen French fries.
- 7
Season the Fries
Toss the frozen fries in a bowl with vegetable oil and salt to taste.
- 8
Bake the Fries
Spread the fries evenly on a baking sheet and bake according to package instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes, until crispy and golden.
- 9
Serve
Once cooked, remove the fries from the oven and serve alongside the grilled cheese sandwich.
