Chicken Tenders
Dipping Sauce (optional)
Method
Prepare the Chicken
- 1
Slice the Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into strips, about 1 inch wide.
- 2
Bread the Chicken
- 3
Coat the Chicken
Take each chicken strip and coat it in flour, shaking off excess. Then dip it into the egg mixture, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
- 4
Repeat
Repeat the coating process for all chicken strips.
Fry the Chicken
- 5
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot (about 350°F or 175°C).
- 6
Fry the Chicken
Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry in batches if necessary.
- 7
Cook Until Golden
Fry the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 8
Drain
Remove the chicken tenders from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
