Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salad Base

Begin by washing the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel or use a salad spinner to remove excess water.

  2. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

Chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds, halve the cherry tomatoes, and grate the carrot. Add these vegetables to the bowl along with diced red bell pepper.

Dressing Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Ginger Soy Dressing

In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, grated ginger, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, and minced garlic. Whisk together until well combined.

  2. 4

    Season the Dressing

Add black sesame seeds, salt, and pepper to the dressing mixture. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.

Final Assembly

  1. 5

    Combine Salad and Dressing

Pour the ginger soy dressing over the salad base in the large bowl. Toss gently until all the ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing.

  2. 6

    Serve

Serve the salad immediately in individual bowls, or chill for a short time if preferred. Enjoy your fresh house green salad!
