Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Cut the pork tenderloin into bite-sized pieces. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

Dice the red and green bell peppers, onion, and prepare the pineapple chunks.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cook the Pork

In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork pieces and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 4

    Stir-Fry Vegetables

In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if necessary. Stir-fry the diced onion, red and green bell peppers for about 3-4 minutes, until they start to soften.

  3. 5

    Make the Sauce

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, cornstarch, ketchup, chili paste, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Mix until well blended.

  4. 6

    Combine and Cook

Return the cooked pork to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the sauce over the mixture and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

Serving

  1. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the dish before serving. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
