Method
Grilled Lamb Filet
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
- 2
Marinate the Lamb
Rub the marinade over the lamb filets and allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- 4
Grill the Lamb
Place the marinated lamb filets on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
- 5
Rest the Lamb
Remove the lamb from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Ginger Crème Sauce
- 6
Prepare the Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, finely grated fresh ginger, soy sauce, and honey.
- 7
Simmer the Sauce
Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally. Allow it to cook for about 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
- 8
Finish the Sauce
Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly before serving over the lamb.
Sesame Asparagus
- 9
Prepare the Asparagus
Wash and trim the tough ends from the asparagus.
- 10
Cook the Asparagus
In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add asparagus and sprinkle with salt. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp.
- 11
Add Sesame Seeds
Sprinkle sesame seeds over the asparagus and toss to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
