Shrimp Preparation

1

Boil the Shrimp

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the lemon halves, Old Bay seasoning, and salt to the water.

2

Cook the Shrimp

Once the water is boiling, add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

3

Drain and Chill

Remove the shrimp from the pot and drain them in a colander. Rinse under cold running water to stop the cooking process. Once cooled, chill the shrimp in the refrigerator.

Cocktail Sauce Preparation

4

Mix the Sauce

In a medium bowl, combine the ketchup, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and hot sauce. Stir well until smooth and evenly mixed.

Serve

5

Plating the Dish

Arrange the chilled shrimp on a serving platter. Serve with the cocktail sauce on the side for dipping.
