Method

Lobster Preparation

  1. 1

    Thaw the Lobster Tails

If using frozen cold water lobster tails, thaw them in the refrigerator overnight or place them in a sealed plastic bag and submerge in cold water for about 30-60 minutes until thawed.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill or Broiler

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or set your oven's broiler on high.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Lobster Tails

Using kitchen shears, carefully cut down the top of the lobster shell to expose the meat. You can also use a knife to create a small slit. Gently pull the lobster meat out of the shell, leaving it attached at the base, and lay it on top of the shell.

  4. 4

    Season the Lobster

In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in the minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture generously over the exposed lobster meat.

  5. 5

    Cook the Lobster

Place the prepared lobster tails on the grill or under the broiler. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, basting with the butter mixture halfway through, until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the lobster tails from the grill or broiler, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

Serving Suggestions

  1. 7

    Prepare the Side Dishes

While the lobster is cooking, toast slices of garlic bread on the grill or in the oven until golden brown.

  2. 8

    Plate the Dish

Arrange the lobster tails on a serving plate alongside the garlic bread and lemon wedges for a beautiful presentation.
