Preparation of Cheese Blend

Combine the Cheeses

In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, pecorino romano cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Mix well until all cheeses are thoroughly combined and smooth.

Prepare the Basil and Peppers

Chop the fresh basil finely and set aside. If the roasted red peppers are whole, slice them into strips and measure out 1 cup.

Assemble the Quattro Formaggio

In a baking dish, spread half of the cheese mixture evenly on the bottom. Layer the chopped fresh basil and roasted red peppers on top. Spread the remaining cheese mixture over the vegetables.

Bake the Dish

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbling.

Serving

Serve with Marinara

Once baked, remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
