Cooking Pasta

Boil the Pasta
In a large pot, bring water to a rolling boil. Add 1 tsp of salt to the water.

Cook the Pasta
Add the angel hair pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions, usually about 3-5 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

Drain the Pasta
Once the pasta is cooked al dente, drain it in a colander and set aside.
Preparing the Vegetable Mixture

Sauté the Garlic
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Add Vegetables
Add the diced zucchini and bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.

Add Tomatoes and Basil
Stir in the halved cherry tomatoes and chopped fresh basil. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the tomatoes are slightly softened and the basil is fragrant.

Season the Mixture
Sprinkle with black pepper and stir to combine. Remove from heat.

Serve
Plate the vegetable basilico pasta while hot. Garnish with additional fresh basil leaves if desired.
