Veal Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Veal

Season the veal cutlets with salt and black pepper. Dredge each cutlet in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and then coat with Italian bread crumbs.

  2. 2

    Fry Veal

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry the breaded cutlets for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Tomato Mixture

    Sauté Tomatoes and Aromatics

In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté minced garlic and chopped onions until softened. Add chopped Valarosa tomatoes and cook for about 5 minutes until they are softened. Stir in fresh basil and set aside.

Marinara Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare Marinara Sauce

In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Pour in canned crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Assemble and Bake

  1. 5

    Layer and Bake

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce, place the fried veal cutlets on top, and cover with sautéed tomato mixture. Add slices of fresh mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Cook Pasta

  1. 6

    Cook Spaghetti

In a pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and serve with marinara sauce.
