- 3
Prepare the Pan
Heat a non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add a little olive oil to the pan.
- 4
Sear the Tuna
Once the pan is hot, add the marinated tuna steaks. Sear for 1-2 minutes on each side, or until a crust forms and the center is still pink (medium-rare).
- 5
Add Sesame Seeds
During the last minute of cooking, sprinkle sesame seeds on the tuna steaks and press lightly to adhere.
- 6
Remove from Heat
Once cooked to your liking, remove the tuna from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes.
Garnishing
- 7
Slice the Green Onions
While the tuna is resting, finely chop the green onions to use as a garnish.
- 8
Prepare Lemon Wedges
Cut a lemon into wedges for serving.
- 9
Plate the Dish
Slice the seared tuna steaks into thick slices and arrange them on a plate. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
