Shrimp Preparation

Marinate the Shrimp
In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and paprika. Mix well to ensure the shrimp are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Prepare Taco Shells
Warm the taco shells or tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes on each side until they are pliable and slightly toasted.

Assemble the Tacos
In each taco shell, place a generous amount of shredded cabbage, followed by the cooked shrimp. Top with sliced avocado and sprinkle with fresh cilantro. Add a dollop of sour cream on top.

Serve
Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos just before eating.

Make the Salsa
In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, and fresh cilantro. Drizzle with lime juice and sprinkle with salt. Toss gently to combine.

Serve the salsa in a bowl with tortilla chips on the side for dipping.
