Brownie Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- 2
Melt Butter
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.
- 3
Add Eggs and Vanilla
Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- 4
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- 5
Mix Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- 6
Bake the Brownies
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 7
Cool and Cut
Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Cut into squares while still warm.
