Method

For the Blackened Redfish

  1. 1

    Prepare the Redfish

Preheat your grill to high heat. Pat the redfish fillets dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Fish

Rub the fillets with olive oil and generously coat them with Cajun seasoning on both sides.

  3. 3

    Grill the Fish

Place the seasoned redfish on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has a blackened crust.

  4. 4

    Serve

Remove the redfish from the grill and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets.

For the Crabcake

  1. 5

    Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, breadcrumbs, egg, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently to combine.

  2. 6

    Form the Crabcakes

Form the mixture into patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.

  3. 7

    Cook the Crabcakes

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a splash of olive oil. Cook the crabcakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.

For the Aioli

  1. 8

    Prepare the Aioli

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 9

    Mix Well

Whisk the ingredients together until they are well combined and smooth.
