Blackened Mahi

Method

Blackened Mahi

  1. 1

    Prepare the Spice Mixture

In a small bowl, mix together paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Season the Mahi Mahi

Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of each mahi mahi fillet.

  3. 3

    Cook the Mahi Mahi

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned mahi mahi fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through and blackened.

  4. 4

    Serve

Remove from skillet and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Crabcake Aioli

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, crab meat, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley.

  2. 6

    Mix Well

Stir the mixture until well combined and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  3. 7

    Chill

Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

  4. 8

    Serve

Serve the crabcake aioli alongside the blackened mahi for dipping.
