Main Ingredients

Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400°F or 190-200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Drizzle olive oil over both sides of the salmon and season with salt and black pepper. Ensure the seasoning is evenly coated.

Grilling the Salmon

  1. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin-side down. Grill for about 6-8 minutes, or until the salmon easily flakes with a fork. If the fillets are thick, you may need to grill for an additional 2-4 minutes.

  2. 4

    Flip the Salmon

Carefully flip the salmon fillets and grill for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 5

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until it starts to bubble.

  2. 6

    Add Garlic and Lemon Juice

Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in fresh lemon juice and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

  3. 7

    Finish the Sauce

Remove the saucepan from heat, and stir in chopped fresh parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plate the Salmon

Transfer the grilled salmon fillets to serving plates. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce generously over the top of each fillet.

  2. 9

    Garnish

Garnish with additional parsley if desired and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
