Preparing the Ribs
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
- 2
Prepare the Ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the pork ribs for better tenderness. Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 3
Season the Ribs
In a small bowl, mix the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Combine Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- 5
Simmer the Sauce
Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce the heat to low and let it cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
Cooking the Ribs
- 6
Bake the Ribs
Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover them tightly with more foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.
- 7
- 8
Broil the Ribs
Preheat the broiler on high. Place the ribs under the broiler for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.
Serving
- 9
Rest and Serve
Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with the reserved BBQ sauce on the side.
