Marinated Swordfish

Method

Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Swordfish

Place the swordfish steaks in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the fish, ensuring that each piece is well coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for a stronger flavor.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 400°F (200°C).

  4. 4

    Grill the Swordfish

Remove the swordfish from the marinade and discard the excess marinade. Place the swordfish steaks on the grill. Cook for about 4-6 minutes on each side, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the swordfish from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional chopped parsley if desired.
