Method

Chicken Tenders

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breast fillets into strips about 1 inch wide.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place the flour in the first bowl, beat the eggs in the second bowl, and place breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in the third bowl.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Dip each chicken strip first in flour, then in the egg, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Ensure even coating.

  4. 4

    Fry the Chicken

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken strips. Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Corn on the Cob

  1. 5

    Prepare the Corn

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Husk the corn and remove all silk.

  2. 6

    Cook the Corn

Add the corn to the boiling water and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. Remove and serve with butter and salt.

French Fries

  1. 7

    Cut the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.

  2. 8

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot. Once hot, add the potato strips in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste.

Biscuits

  1. 9

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

  2. 10

    Add Butter and Milk

Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk until dough forms.

  3. 11

    Shape and Bake

Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a greased baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
