Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Start by rinsing the pork ribs under cold water to remove any excess blood or bone fragments. Pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make the Dry Rub

In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until well combined.

  3. 3

    Season the Ribs

Rub the dry mixture evenly over both sides of the pork ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Let the ribs sit for about 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  4. 4

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).

  5. 5

    Prepare for Baking

Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Place the seasoned ribs on the rack.

  6. 6

    Bake the Ribs

Cover the ribs with another piece of aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until they are tender.

  7. 7

    Make the BBQ Sauce

In a saucepan, combine the BBQ sauce and apple cider vinegar. Heat over medium flame until warmed through, stirring occasionally.

  8. 8

    Glaze the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the oven, discard the top layer of foil, and brush the BBQ sauce mixture generously over the ribs.

  9. 9

    Final Bake

Return the ribs to the oven uncovered and increase the temperature to 200°C (400°F). Bake for an additional 20-30 minutes until the sauce is caramelized.

  10. 10

    Serve and Enjoy

Remove from the oven, let rest for 10 minutes, then cut into sections and serve hot.
