Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). While the oven is warming up, rinse the beef ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Rub the mixture evenly over the ribs. Drizzle the olive oil on both sides of the ribs to help the seasoning stick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs in a baking dish or on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the dish tightly with foil to trap moisture and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bone.

  4. 4

    Add BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven, and carefully take off the foil. Brush your favorite BBQ sauce generously over the ribs. Return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, and cook for an additional 30 minutes to let the sauce caramelize.

  5. 5

    Serve

Take the ribs out of the oven and let them rest for about 10 minutes before serving. Cut between the bones and serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
