Beef Brisket

Method

Beef Brisket

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brisket

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

  2. 2

In a bowl, mix the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder to create a dry rub.

  3. 3

Rub the dry mixture all over the beef brisket, ensuring it is evenly coated.

  4. 4

Place the brisket in a roasting pan, fat side up, and pour the beef broth around it.

  5. 5

Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and roast in the oven for about 4 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 190°F (88°C).

  6. 6

Remove the brisket from the oven, uncover it, and brush the top with BBQ sauce.

  7. 7

Return the brisket to the oven (uncovered) for an additional 30 minutes, allowing the sauce to caramelize.

  8. 8

Let the brisket rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing against the grain.

BBQ Chicken

  1. 9

    Prepare the Chicken

Preheat your grill to medium heat.

  2. 10

In a bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to create a seasoning mix.

  3. 11

Rub the seasoning all over the whole chickens, ensuring even coverage.

  4. 12

Place the chickens on the grill, breast side down, and cook for about 30 minutes.

  5. 13

Flip the chickens over and brush with BBQ sauce. Grill for an additional 30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  6. 14

Remove from the grill, let rest for 10 minutes, and then carve the chicken.
