Cooking Pasta

Boil the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 7-8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Making Cheese Sauce

Prepare the Roux
In a large saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Once melted, whisk in the all-purpose flour and cook for about 2 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Add Dairy
Gradually whisk in the whole milk and heavy cream, ensuring there are no lumps. Continue cooking and stirring until the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

Mix Everything Together
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cheese sauce, and chopped lobster meat. Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Baking

Prepare for Baking
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a large baking dish or casserole dish.

Add Topping
Transfer the lobster mac and cheese mixture to the prepared baking dish. In a small bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, and olive oil. Mix until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated. Sprinkle this mixture over the top of the mac and cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
