Salad Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water, then dry it using a salad spinner or by patting it with a clean kitchen towel. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.
- 2
Add Croutons and Cheese
Once the lettuce is in the bowl, add the croutons and the shaved pecorino cheese evenly over the top.
Caesar Dressing Preparation
- 3
Make the Dressing
In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced garlic (finely chop or press the garlic cloves), lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Whisk the ingredients together until smooth and well-blended.
- 4
Incorporate Parmesan
Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the dressing and mix well until fully combined.
Final Assembly
- 5
Combine Salad and Dressing
Pour the prepared Caesar dressing over the chopped romaine, croutons, and pecorino cheese in the salad bowl. Toss gently until all ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing.
- 6
Serve
Transfer the salad to individual serving plates or bowls. You can add extra shaved pecorino cheese on top for garnish if desired. Enjoy your Large Caesar Salad!
