Preparing Edamame

Boil Edamame
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the edamame pods and salt. Cook for about 5-6 minutes until tender but still firm. Drain and set aside.
Making Garlic Butter

Roast Garlic
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wrap the garlic cloves in aluminum foil and roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes until soft and caramelized. Allow garlic to cool, then squeeze out the cloves into a bowl.

Prepare Garlic Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the roasted garlic and salt, stirring until well combined. Remove from heat and set aside.
Combining Ingredients

Combine Edamame and Garlic Butter
In a large mixing bowl, add the cooked edamame. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the edamame and toss to coat evenly.

Add Toppings
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese, sunflower seeds, and chopped fresh parsley over the edamame. Toss again gently to mix the toppings.
