Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the brownies.
- 2
Mix the brownie batter
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Ghirardelli brownie mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined. If desired, fold in the chopped walnuts.
- 3
Bake the brownies
Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
Assembling the Sundae

Drizzle chocolate sauce
Drizzle chocolate sauce generously over the ice cream and brownie.

Finish with toppings
Top with whipped cream and place a maraschino cherry on top of each serving for a classic sundae finish.
