Preparing the Fries

Dry and Fry Potatoes
After soaking, drain the potatoes and dry them well with a kitchen towel. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potatoes in batches for about 5-7 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Season the Fries
While the fries are still hot, sprinkle them with salt to taste.
Making the Butter Garlic Herb Mixture

Melt Butter
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until it is fully liquefied.

Tossing the Fries

Combine and Serve
In a large bowl, combine the hot fries with the butter garlic herb mixture. Toss well until all the fries are evenly coated. Serve immediately.
