Preparation
- 1
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2
Prepare Brussels Sprouts
Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water, trim off the ends, and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut each sprout in half lengthwise.
- 3
Cook Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Once cooked, remove the bacon from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Reserve about 1 tablespoon of the bacon drippings in the skillet.
Combining Ingredients

Toss Brussels Sprouts
In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the Brussels sprouts are well coated.
- 5
Add Crumbled Bacon
Crumble the cooked bacon into the bowl and mix it in with the Brussels sprouts.
Roasting
- 6
Spread on Baking Sheet
Spread the Brussels sprouts and bacon mixture onto a baking sheet in a single layer.
- 7
Roast in the Oven
Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender and crispy on the edges. Stir halfway through cooking to ensure even roasting.
- 8
Add Parmesan
Once roasted, remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top of the Brussels sprouts. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
