Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Season the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Rub olive oil on both sides and season with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). This will ensure the salmon cooks evenly.

Cooking the Salmon

  1. 3

    Bake the Salmon

Place the seasoned salmon fillets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Preparing the Vegetables

  1. 4

    Chop the Vegetables

While the salmon is baking, wash and chop the asparagus, cherry tomatoes, bell pepper, and zucchini into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped vegetables and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

Plating the Dish

  1. 6

    Serve the Salmon and Vegetables

Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the oven. Place a salmon fillet on each plate, and arrange the sautéed vegetables on the side.

  2. 7

    Garnish

Sprinkle fresh dill over the salmon fillets and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
