Pork Chop

Apple Sauce

Method

Pork Chop

1

Prep the Pork Chops

Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. This helps to achieve a good sear on the grill.

2

Season the Pork Chops

In a bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and chopped rosemary. Rub this mixture all over the pork chops and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

3

Grill the Pork Chops

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the pork chops on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Apple Sauce

4

Prepare the Apples

In a medium saucepan, combine the chopped apples, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and water.

5

Cook the Apple Sauce

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and cover. Let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are soft.

6

Mash the Apples

Once the apples are soft, use a potato masher or fork to mash the apples to your desired consistency. If you prefer a smoother sauce, you can blend it using an immersion blender.

7

Serve

Serve the warm apple sauce alongside the grilled pork chops.
