Garlic Butter Sauce

Method

Preparing the Shrimp

  1. 1

    Marinate the Shrimp

In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Add the shrimp and toss to coat evenly. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C). If using skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

Grilling the Shrimp

  1. 3

    Grill the Shrimp

Remove the shrimp from the marinade and thread them onto skewers if using. Place the shrimp directly on the grill grates or on skewers, and grill for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are opaque and slightly charred. Be careful not to overcook.

Making the Garlic Butter Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned. Stir in the chopped parsley, red pepper flakes, and salt to taste. Remove from heat.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve the Dish

Once the shrimp are grilled, remove them from the skewers (if used) and place them on a serving platter. Drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the shrimp and garnish with additional parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
