Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Brussels Sprouts

Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water. Trim the stem ends and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves. Cut the larger sprouts in half to ensure even cooking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the bacon from the skillet and let it cool on a paper towel. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into small pieces.

Roasting

  1. 4

    Toss Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the prepared Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated.

  2. 5

    Spread on Baking Sheet

Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 6

    Roast the Brussels Sprouts

Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are golden brown and tender, stirring halfway through for even cooking.

Finishing Touch

  1. 7

    Add Balsamic Glaze and Bacon

Remove the roasted Brussels sprouts from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Top with crumbled bacon and toss gently to combine.

  2. 8

    Serve

Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving platter and enjoy warm.
