Bread Pudding Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Bread
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Tear the stale bread into small pieces and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- 2
Mix Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- 3
Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet mixture over the bread pieces in the mixing bowl. Allow the bread to soak in the mixture for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure all pieces are coated.
- 4
Bake the Pudding
Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray. Pour the soaked bread mixture into the prepared dish and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Serve the Bread Pudding
Once the bread pudding is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, drizzle with caramel sauce, and add whipped cream as desired.
