Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Rinse the baby octopus under cold water and pat dry. In a large bowl, combine the diced potatoes, sliced bell peppers, minced garlic, olive oil, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the vegetables evenly.

  2. 2

    Combine Octopus and Vegetables

Add the baby octopus to the bowl with the seasoned vegetables. Toss gently to combine, ensuring the octopus is well-coated with the oil and spices.

  3. 3

    Cook the Mixture

Transfer the mixture to a large, heavy-bottomed pot or a traditional peka dish. Spread it out evenly.

  4. 4

    Bake

Cover the pot with a lid or aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 45 minutes.

  5. 5

    Final Touches

After 45 minutes, remove the lid and check for doneness. If the octopus is tender and the potatoes are cooked through, garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
