Cocktail Preparation
Muddle the Basil
In a cocktail shaker, gently muddle the fresh basil leaves to release their aromatic oils.
Combine the Ingredients
Add the Maraska Slivovitz, Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur, fresh pineapple juice, fresh lime juice, and ice cubes to the shaker.
Shake
Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to chill and combine the ingredients.
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass or coupe.
Garnish
Garnish with a basil leaf or a small wedge of fresh pineapple, if desired.
