Prepare the Steak or Chicken

Prepare the Breading
In a shallow bowl, mix together flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Prepare the Egg Mixture
In another shallow bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until well combined.

Cook the Steak or Chicken

Heat Oil
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.

Fry the Coated Steak or Chicken
Carefully add the breaded steak or chicken to the hot oil. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Prepare the Sausage Gravy

Cook the Sausage
In a medium saucepan, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.

Make the Gravy
Sprinkle flour over the cooked sausage and stir to combine. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Prepare the Hashbrowns or Tater Barrels

Cook the Hashbrowns or Tater Barrels
In a separate skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add frozen hashbrowns or tater barrels and season with salt and black pepper. Cook until crispy and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through.
