Chicken Marinade

Method

Chicken Marinade Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, and finely chopped jalapeños. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chicken

Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best flavor.

Fries Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Wash and cut the potatoes into fry shapes.

  2. 4

    Season the Fries

In a large bowl, toss the potato fries with olive oil, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  3. 5

    Bake the Fries

Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Cooking Chicken

  1. 6

    Cook the Chicken

In a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat, cook the marinated chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F / 74°C).

  2. 7

    Rest the Chicken

Once cooked, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plate the Dish

Slice the chicken and serve alongside the crispy fries. Garnish with chopped cilantro or parsley and lime wedges.
