Method

Main Dish

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts and coat them well with the mixture. Place the chicken on a baking sheet.

  2. 2

    Bake the Chicken

Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Fries

  1. 3

    Cut the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into fry shapes (about 1/4 inch thick).

  2. 4

    Fry the Potatoes

In a deep pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the cut potatoes in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste.

Texas Toast

  1. 5

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, mix softened butter with garlic powder until well combined.

  2. 6

    Toast the Bread

Spread the garlic butter mixture generously on one side of each slice of bread. Place the slices butter-side down on a hot skillet over medium heat. Toast until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Side Options

  1. 7

    Prepare the Cole Slaw

In a large bowl, toss the cole slaw mix with dressing of your choice. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.

  2. 8

    Serve Cottage Cheese

Scoop cottage cheese into serving bowls and sprinkle with salt or pepper if desired.

  3. 9

    Create a Salad

In a large serving bowl, combine mixed salad greens with your choice of salad dressing. Toss to combine.
